FAN – Where friends meet friends to support the arts!
FAN Member Events
Throughout the year FAN hosts member events such as luncheons where interesting art topics are explored in lively panel discussions by leaders in the arts. Through our Cultural Camaraderie program we attend FAN-funded performances or exhibitions. For members there are events designed to augment art experiences. Descriptions of our Member Programs are below.
BOARD MEETINGS
The monthly FAN Board of Directors Meetings are scheduled for the third Monday of each month with a few exceptions to accommodate holiday calendars and FAN’s Screening Committee final meeting. Board meetings are open to all members.
MEMBERS ONLY EVENTS
Members Only events are held several times each year in appreciation of and for the benefit of our members, who will share experiences uniquely designed for them.
LUNCHEON MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS
The quarterly luncheons are usually held on the first Tuesday of November, January, March and May. Three of these meetings include discussions on interesting and current topics in the world of dance, music, theater and visual arts. The fourth meeting (May) is devoted to the presentation of the Annual FAN Grant Awards.
Guests and prospective members are welcomed at these meetings. Grantees, panelists and arts leaders mingle informally with members and guests.
CULTURAL CAMARADERIE
Cultural Camaraderie events are planned so that members can attend and support programs funded by FAN. Perquisites from grantees are not allowed so FAN Members must pay for the cost of the performances or exhibitions. Plans may also include a lunch, dinner, or social reception, making these gatherings a great way to meet new friends while enjoying cultural events.
