Since its inception in 1996, FAN has awarded over $6,100,000.00 in grants to 115 art organizations with over 700 arts programs presented to our community.
Funding Arts Network (FAN) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and enhancing the visual and performing arts programs offered in Miami-Dade County by providing member-supported grants to arts providers, capacity-building workshops to grant applicants, and educational and social programs for members to encourage greater involvement, appreciation, and awareness of the arts.
Over the last 30 years, Miami-Dade County’s cultural community has grown more rapidly than that of any other major metropolitan area in the United States.
Funding Arts Network has been helping spur that growth for over 25 years. By pooling our membership dollars, we significantly impact our community.
Support for the arts has declined despite the data which conclusively proves that a strong arts industry boosts the economic impact, the mental well-being and the cultural diversity of a city.
FAN’s financial grants help address the deficit and keep the arts industry alive and thriving in Miami-Dade County.
