Dimensions Dance Theatre
Dimensions Dance Theater will present TEN: a Decade of Dimensions Dance Theatre of Miami. The company will launch its 10th Anniversary season with a bold program reflecting the vivacious spirit that has defined the company since its founding. Audiences will experience thrilling company premieres, including Watercolor by Jimmy Orrante and Vicente Nebrada’s A Handel Celebration, a work that blends neoclassical elegance with Latin American vitality. The program also includes the return of Tara Lee’s Under the Olive Tree, set to Max Richter’s modern reimagining of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons.
Karen Peterson and Dancers
Karen Peterson and Dancers will present the 8th Forward Motion Physically Integrated Dance Festival and will launch the U.S. tour of Taiwan’s internationally acclaimed Resident Island Dance Theatre at the Sandrell Rivers Theater. RIDT is celebrated for groundbreaking choreography that unites dancers with and without disabilities in powerful, socially conscious performance.
Live Arts Miami
Live Arts Miami will present Flock by BANDALOOP. Renowned for transforming architecture and natural landscapes as performance sites, BANDALOOP merges contemporary dance and climbing technology to create gravity-defying works. Their piece, FLOCK, will animate downtown Miami’s skyline through suspended movement across vertical space, subverting the public realm through spectacle. This will be a vertical performance on the facade of Miami Dade College’s downtown campus.
Miami City Ballet
MCB will present a commission by Patricia Delgado. Created specifically for MCB dancers and presented as part of the Company’s mainstage season. The ballet reflects a collaborative process shaped by artists whose professional paths intersect through shared creative values and long-standing connections to South Florida. Patricia Delgado is a Tony Award–winning choreographer and former Miami City Ballet principal dancer whose artistic journey began in South Florida.
Peter London Global Dance Company
To mark the 15th Anniversary company season, Peter London Global Dance has commissioned a new dance work by Jarar Roberts, widely recognized for his nearly two-decade career with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. World premiere music compositions will also be featured. The work will focus the Company’s unique Caribbean contemporary dance lens on a modern theme.

Adrienne Arsht Center
The Adrienne Arsht Center’s 2026–27 Classical Music Series features four performances, including the Munich Philharmonic, London Symphony Orchestra with Antonio Pappano, and pianist Yuja Wang. This series brings world-class artistry to Miami while expanding access through affordable tickets, student programs, and community engagement initiatives.
GroundUp Music Festival
The 11th Annual GroundUp Music Festival draws global audiences to Miami Beach for a genre-defying musical experience. Co-founded by Paul Lehr and Michael League, it has earned national acclaim for its eclectic artistry, attracting visitors from across the U.S. and worldwide while strengthening Miami’s reputation as a vibrant cultural destination.
Florida Grand Opera
Florida Grand Opera presents Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor, marking its 190th anniversary and honoring Luciano Pavarotti’s Miami debut. This production blends bel canto tradition with modern storytelling, celebrating South Florida’s operatic legacy while engaging diverse audiences through accessible performances and community-centered programming.
Martha/Mary Concerts
Martha/Mary Concerts presents four performances spanning classical, jazz, and contemporary music, including a dual piano celebration of America’s 250th anniversary. Held at Corpus Christi Church, the series fosters community through accessible pricing and inclusive programming that welcomes diverse audiences to share in live musical experiences.
New World Symphony
The New World Symphony presents a two-concert Prokofiev series led by Stéphane Denève, featuring violinist James Ehnes. Showcasing four works composed in different cities, the program highlights Prokofiev’s stylistic range while supporting NWS Fellows and enriching Miami’s cultural life through innovative and accessible orchestral programming.
Nu Deco Ensemble
Nu Deco Ensemble presents Voices of Women, a new multidisciplinary work by Preeti Vasudevan and Clarice Assad at the Miami Beach Bandshell. Blending music, dance, and visual media, it explores identity, democracy, and belonging through diverse women’s stories, amplifying voices of resilience while engaging and connecting Miami’s multicultural community.
Seraphic Fire
Seraphic Fire’s Andean Pulse celebrates South American music, featuring Ramírez’s Misa Criolla alongside works by Alvaro Bermudez and Sydney Guillaume. Combining chorus, soloists, and traditional instruments, the program highlights Miami’s cultural heritage while offering audiences an engaging, high-quality exploration of Latin American musical traditions.
South Beach Jazz Festival
The South Beach Jazz Festival, held annually across Miami Beach, features over 100 artists in performances, masterclasses, and lectures. Celebrating musicians of all abilities, it has grown into a major cultural event, attracting diverse audiences and international recognition while maintaining a strong commitment to accessibility and community engagement.

Actors’ Playhouse
Actors’ Playhouse presents The Shark Is Broken, a witty behind-the-scenes look at the making of Jaws. Focusing on three actors navigating creative tension, the play blends humor and insight while celebrating the intersection of theatre and film through special community screenings.

Arca Images presents a Spanish-language adaptation of Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman, directed by Nilo Cruz. This powerful reimagining explores ambition, identity, and the immigrant experience, asking timeless questions about success, meaning, and the elusive promise of the American Dream.
GableStage
Fresh from its acclaimed Broadway run, LIBERATION arrives at GableStage as one of the season’s most celebrated plays. Beth Wohl’s witty, time-bending drama revisits second-wave feminism through a daughter’s search for her mother’s legacy, exploring freedom, identity, and the enduring struggle for women’s rights.
Miami New Drama
Miami New Drama presents a new work, The Golem of Havana. Set in Batista’s Havana on the eve of revolution, the play follows a Hungarian Jewish family forced to choose between protecting a wounded guerrilla—the son of their beloved maid—and preserving their fragile stability after the Holocaust. Blending Klezmer and son Cubano, this Miami-born work explores family, faith, and political survival with timely, far-reaching resonance.
Zoetic Stage
Zoetic Stage presents the South Florida premiere of John Proctor is the Villain by Kimberly Belflower. This sharp, darkly funny play reexamines The Crucible through a modern feminist lens, as high school students confront #MeToo, power, and identity in a rural Georgia classroom.
Visual Arts
Bass Art Museum
The Bass will present Yuko Mohri, the artist’s first solo exhibition at a U.S. museum. This exhibition will commission four site-specific works featuring Mohri’s kinetic sculptures incorporating found objects, sound, and movement. Inspired by the fragile climate of Miami Beach, Mohri connects the outdoor environment to her works by creating artificial ecosystems. The new work produced for the museum will utilize materials sourced from Miami, continuing her artistic practice.
Miami Jewish Film Festival
The Miami Jewish Film Festival, entering its 30th year of artistic excellence, engages the public with diverse and award-winning films about Jewish culture, arts, and lifestyle. Their aim is to create greater cultural understanding, promote tolerance, and encourage artistic development and excellence by strengthening communities through the arts, and by provoking thought through film.
Miami-Dade College — Miami Film Festival 2027
Celebrating its 44th season, the festival will showcase a diverse selection of international and independent films, highlighting emerging talent and offering compelling stories across various genres. Over 10 days, MFF will bring filmmakers, industry professionals, and audiences together for special screenings, Q&A sessions, and extended conversations with filmmakers and actors. Hosted across 10 major venues in Miami-Dade County, the Festival will feature films from around the world.
Locust Projects
Locust Projects will present De Profundis Clamavi ad Astra, a new immersive installation by Ecuador-born, Miami-based artist Edison Peñafiel. Transforming Locust Project’s Main Gallery into a dark underwater realm, a massive 360° floor-to-ceiling video engulfs visitors in an oceanic cosmos where human figures move between the depths and constellations, evoking ancient myths, lived histories, and tides of migration and survival. Brought to life through 3D animation and an original orchestral soundscape, the installation powerfully draws upon timeless archetypes and stories to offer a visceral space for reflection, hope, and transcendence.
Lowe Art Museum
The Lowe will present Young, Gifted, and Black, which features fifty-two works by forty-nine leading contemporary artists, all of whom have been active in the global art world for a decade or more. The exhibition showcases an extensive range of media. It highlights the work of leading contemporary artists across two generations while also exploring creative expression in the 21st century.
Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival — OUTshine LGBTQ+ Film Festival
The Festival presents a captivating and diverse lineup of the latest, top-tier films centered on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer themes. This festival aims to inspire, provoke thought, and entertain audiences with high-quality cinematic experiences. The festival features 60+ screenings each season across a wide range of genres, including features, documentaries, and shorts. Most of these films are not available to see anywhere outside of a festival setting.
Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami
MOCA North Miami will present Geoffrey Holder: I Belong Here, the first museum survey to center on the visual art of Geoffrey Holder, internationally celebrated for his achievements in dance, theater, and film. The exhibition features over 60 works in painting, drawing, collage, and sculpture—many never-before publicly shown. Organized thematically, the exhibition reframes Holder’s visual art as the foundation of his creative life and highlights his powerful use of color, gesture, and the human figure.
Perez Art Museum Miami
The Perez Art Museum will present John Baldessari: The End of the Line. Baldessari was an innovative and influential conceptual artist best known for his use of found and appropriated images within his artworks. The End of the Line will consist of over 40 of Baldessari’s works including photography, prints, paintings, sculpture, and installations from the collection of Craig Robins. This exhibition presents a retrospective of 50 years of the artist’s work, showcasing his creative development.
2026 Community Impact Award Winners
The following five programs were chosen by the FAN membership to receive $5,000 CIA awards for using their creative talents to prioritize and support their community with outreach programs that go far beyond their usual patrons to enrich the quality of life for the surrounding community.
Alhambra Music
Alhambra Music’s Youth Outreach Initiative expands meaningful access to classical music education for Miami-Dade students ages 6–18, with a focus on underserved schools. With strong volunteer engagement, professional musicians provide free monthly classroom visits, interactive performances, and mentorship that introduce young people to live music and the creative process. The initiative reaches approximately 200 students each year and connects participants to deeper artistic opportunities through ensemble appearances at orchestra concerts, a long-standing concerto competition whose winners perform as featured soloists, and scholarships for a chamber music workshop led by university faculty.
Center for the Advancement of Jewish Education
The Miami Jewish Film Festival’s Community Impact Initiative is a year-round program that expands access to cultural storytelling through free film screenings and community dialogue across Miami-Dade County. The initiative offers more than 40 public programs each year—including Israeli Film Nights, Screening the Holocaust, Family Day at the Park, and the MJFF All Access Virtual Series. These programs take place in parks, community centers, and online platforms, intentionally removing financial and geographic barriers to participation. In 2025 alone, the initiative engaged more than 22,000 residents of all ages, from students and young adults to families and seniors.
GableStage — Audience Enrichment Programs
GableStage’s Audience Enrichment Programs extend the impact of theatrical productions through year-round community engagement. In 2025, the initiative engaged more than 6,500 adult learners and theatergoers through pre-show lectures, post-show talkbacks, multi-week educational courses, and community dialogue events. These programs deepen audiences’ understanding of the artistic process while encouraging dialogue around issues reflected in the theatre’s repertoire, including identity, migration, generational change, and social belonging.
Miami City Ballet — Ballet for Young People Program
Miami City Ballet’s Ballet for Young People Program (BFYP) is an ongoing initiative offered during the school year that expands access to ballet for 6,500+ students across Miami-Dade County where quality arts access is limited. The program combines live performances, digital streams, and reserved student seating at mainstage performances throughout the school year. The program supports teachers by providing comprehensive Educational Guides, and students receive a program-specific study guide introducing ballet vocabulary and terminology, historical context, storytelling, music, and movement analysis. The program offers student-only matinee performances during the school day at no cost to participating schools, with transportation provided.
Miami Light Project — Technical Fellowship Program
Miami Light Project’s Technical Fellowship Program offers fellowships to students over 18. It provides a four-week summer training (free of charge) and year-round employment opportunities in the areas of lighting design, audio/visual and sound, stage management, video projection, camera and lighting, and arts administration, including finance. During the 2024–2025 season, the program delivered hands-on technical theater training to 40 participants and provided paid, professional work experience to seven Miami-based emerging technicians.
